Can I put the pool up myself?
Yes — many customers install themselves. Read all instructions on this page, and watch our installation videos for step-by-step guidance. See our installation details.
What weather is required to set up my pool?
We recommend 80°F or warmer, dry conditions, and no strong wind for a smooth installation.
What are the ground requirements?
Ground must be level within 1/2" and use virgin dirt only — no grass, rocks, or sticks. For concrete bases, use Happy Pool Bottom where required.
What do I use as a base inside my pool?
Mason sand with a sand cove is most common; Pool Crete is another option. Follow the installation guides for the correct depth and compaction.
Where is the pool and liner made?
Made in Arkansas.
How long does it take to install a pool?
Typically a full weekend if you have 2–3 people and all tools ready.
Can I build a deck up to my pool?
Yes — EZ Bead liners allow deck installation without preventing future liner changes.
How do you stabilize the legs of the pool?
Use 12×12×2 pavers under each base plate, level with the ground so the bottom rail rests evenly.
Can I add dirt to my pool spot?
No. Only remove dirt to create a level surface. If using concrete, ask about using Happy Pool Bottom or other manufacturer-approved methods.
What style of liners is best?
Overlap liners hang over the edge; UniBead uses a J-hook; Beaded liners are preferred for decks since they don't affect the top rail.
Can I bury my pool?
Yes — consider a Lomart Whispering Wind pool for an in-ground or ground-level look. Check local codes and manufacturer guidance.
Do you offer professional installation?
Yes. See installation details or contact us to schedule a professional install.
Do I need a permit?
Check with your local city/county building department — rules vary by location.
What electrical work is required?
A licensed electrician is required for permanent hookups. We provide guidance and can coordinate recommendations when needed.
What are shipping costs and lead times?
Pools ship free. Liners and ladders are a $150 flat rate; other accessories are $50 flat rate. Typical order lead time is 1–2 weeks depending on demand; custom items may take longer.
How do I keep my pool water clean?
Keep water balanced (pH, alkalinity, sanitizer), test regularly, and run your filter the recommended hours per day to prevent algae and cloudiness.
How often should I replace my liner?
Most liners last 7–10 years depending on care, sun exposure, and usage.
What’s the easiest way to winterize my pool?
Drain below the skimmer, unhook hoses, remove pump/filter plugs, and use a quality winter cover. Follow product-specific winterizing steps in our guides.
